Welcome
to our new section of courses
and workshops!
I think that our mission
as sexual therapists would not
be complete if we did not play
a role as counselors and educators
of sexuality, helping people have
a right view of themselves and
a broad one of the other people. |

How
is a sexuality workshop developed?
In a three or four-hour workshop,
we focus on working on a main
single activity; we look for a
nice environment for the group
and appropriate to the knowledge
we want to share. The workshop
is begun with a brief introduction
made by us and next, people are
asked to take off their shoes
to start with any activity we
propose. We always use music as
a facilitator of life experiences.
Our aim is to broaden the participants’
information about themselves and
others. We include not only the
intellectual area, but also the
corporal, sensorial, emotional,
and interactive ones, since sexuality
is implicit in all these areas.
Regarding this, we can find people
for whom touching one another
can cause the start of possibilities
of life and enjoyment, and also
people for whom this activity
could activate sufferings, resistance,
and sometimes well-protected internal
breakdowns.
We prefer the theoretical contents
that wish to be discussed to emerge
from the experience of such activity
and as a result of initially working
in a practical manner on at least
one important aspect of the main
concepts that want to be transmitted
theoretically. |
