Sexologica del Este is a hospital
dedicated to treating people
with sexual or couple problems
(marital discord). It is divided
into Women’s Study Unit
and Men’s Study Unit.
In the Women’s Study Unit,
vaginal electromyography tests
are carried out, intended to
verify the tone of the vaginal
muscles and its repercussions
on the patient’s sexual
life.
In the Men’s Study Unit,
tests are carried out to determine
the penis tumescence or rigidity,
and also to rule out the possibility
of other pathologies of the
male sexual area. In both units,
biofeedback equipment is used
to deal with the Inoperative
Response of Anguish, commonly
associated with most sexual
disorders in men and women.
Unidad Sexologica del Este is
open to the public. Its founder
is Dr. Miguel Sira, who is responsible
for the assistance and counseling
given there. |
